Rydal Penrhos’ Community Choir are teaming up with Wales’ leading Cancer charity for a special fundraising event.
The choir, which is comprised of parents, staff members and friends of the school, will be holding a Summer Concert in association with Tenovus Cancer Care at St David’s Church in Penrhyn Bay on Saturday, June 10.
There will be a host of performances throughout the event, with the charity’s Llandudno Sing With Us Choir also scheduled to appear.
It is set to start at 7.30pm and admission is free, although donations will be welcome and will go towards Tenovus, who offer support, advice and treatment to cancer patients and their loved ones, promote healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat the disease.
This is the latest in a long line of events that the community choir perform at throughout the year, with their recent appearance at Creative Rhos drawing widespread praise from those who attended.
Director of Music Pete Williams, said: “This promises to be a fantastic concert and I would urge as many people as possible to attend and show their support for what is a very worthwhile cause.
“Our Community Choir do so much good for various causes in the region and for Rydal Penrhos itself, and there is no more deserving charity than Tenovus Cancer Care.”
