Another Preparatory School pupil has successfully completed an ongoing learning initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular scheme for pupils last year, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, and Year 5 pupil Chloe Tillman-Lennon has now aced the entire scheme after obtaining her Stage Three Gold Award.
Also climbing the levels last week were the Year 6 duo of Elise Mazars and Head Girl Cerys Williams, who secured Stage Two Gold and Silver respectively.
All three received their certificates together with a generous round of applause from Deputy Head Alison Hind in front of the whole Prep School at their weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 23.
The Spelling Challenge is the latest in a series of academic initiatives put on by the Prep School in a bid to enhance the learning of each pupil under their care, something that has brought with it incredible results that will stand them in good stead for the future.
Mrs Hind, said: “Completing the challenge is something that has become a huge talking point throughout our Prep School, and Chloe has worked incredibly hard to improve her vocabulary in order to complete every level.
“Hopefully this academic initiative can continue its amazing success long into the future, as it has been of significant benefit to each pupil that has taken part.”
