Two more Preparatory School pupils have become the latest to complete a thriving academic initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular Spelling Challenge scheme for pupils in 2017, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, with the duo receiving their respective accolades from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at the facility’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 24.
Deputy Head Girl Violet Roberts is now the proud owner of a Stage Three Gold Award after coming through her final assessment with flying colours.
Rounding off the successes was Year 5 pupil Charlotte Payne, who also achieved success at the same level of difficulty to add her name to the list of pupils that have completed the challenge after an outstanding effort throughout.
Mrs Hind, said: “It is always fantastic to see our Prep pupils across all age groups really striving to achieve success in our Spelling Challenge, and I would like to offer my congratulations to Charlotte and Violet on completing what has become a really important part of each child’s development here at Rydal Penrhos.
“Climbing through the levels is a great source of inspiration for them in terms of improving their overall knowledge of vocabulary and the benefits it provides, and hopefully this is a trend that can continue long into the future.”
