Rydal Penrhos’ careers department have announced a partnership with a leading publisher.
The school confirmed a “cooperation” between themselves and HowToBecome.com, an industry website that offers advice on a wide range of professions and a full career listing for people looking for inspiration when choosing their passion.
How To Become also publish a number of textbooks and practice tests that parents could buy for their sons and daughters.
As part of the agreement, the company have donated £300 worth of careers guidance books and practice tests to school, which are set to be added to the Careers Library in the near future.
Head of ICT and Business Studies Mike Farnell, said: “These fantastic resources will prove to be an invaluable addition to our careers are here at Rydal Penrhos, and target the most commonly asked for information from our pupils.
“We are always looking for new ways we can help our leaving Sixth Form pupils as they prepare to embark on both further education and the working world, and I would like to offer my thanks to everyone at HowToBecome.com for their generosity in providing us with some essential resource material.”
