A Sixth Form pupil at Rydal Penrhos has been rewarded for outstanding commitment to her studies with two University offers to high-profile further education establishments.
Caitlin Qu, a Year 13 pupil at the school, will be aiming to continue her exceptional academic success during her upcoming A-level examinations to round off what has been superb spell as a pupil at Rydal Penrhos.
The Chinese boarder has received a conditional offer to study Economics at King’s College London following a successful application process.
She also received the same offer from the University of Warwick, with both dependent on Caitlin securing the necessary A-level results this summer.
It has been a memorable time at the school for Caitlin, who joined the Rydal Penrhos community as a Year 11 pupil in 2016.
The 18-year-old was part of the Rydal Penrhos team that qualified for the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust’s Senior Team Challenge national finals, and she has also secured a plethora of individual achievement relating to UKMT competitions.
Caitlin’s musical gift has been another prominent feature of her overall contribution to school life, performing as various concerts and inter-house competitions.
