Preparatory School pupils are set for a busy few days upon their return to Rydal Penrhos after the half term break.
A host of activities and events have been arranged for pupils to get involved in during their first week back at school, which will begin with a three-day Scholastic Book Fair for pupils, parents and staff.
It will be held at the school’s Lyndon Library from Monday-Wednesday from 3.30-5.30pm, and there will be a host of books in a wide range of fields on offer.
To mark St David’s Day on Wednesday, March 1, Rydal Penrhos will be hosting a special Assembly at the School Hall to kick-off the festivities, before Year 2 will join the annual parade through Colwyn Bay.
It promises to be a busy day for prep pupils, with Year 6 taking a trip down to the Senior School during the afternoon for a familiarisation afternoon, where they will enjoy new subject experiences with Rydal Penrhos’ teachers.
Thursday will see the school celebrate World Book Day, with pupils invited to bring their favourite book characters to life and come dressed in costume.
A number of other activities have been planned throughout the day, with all proceeds raised going towards Book Aid International.
During the week Year 1 will be going on an educational visit to Bodelwyddan Castle to round off a busy start to the final six weeks of Spring Term.
