A group of Economics and Business pupils at Rydal Penrhos got the chance to enhance their learning thanks to a recent trip.
The Upper Sixth Form A-level candidates attended the GraDe Booster workshop before the end of term, which were conducted by examiners in their respective subjects.
Our AQA A-level Business Grade Booster workshops are designed to provide essential revision support to AQA Business pupils as they complete their preparation for Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3.
During the workshop, the key focus centred on evaluation techniques designed to secure the more difficult higher skill marks ahead of examination season, which begins in a few short weeks.
A number of different industry figures gave talks throughout the event, and the workshops have been implemented with a view to refining and sharpening key exam technique for the three Business papers, in addition to building confidence in the essential assessment skills.
This is the latest in a long line of educational visits put on by Rydal Penrhos’ dedicated staff, which enables each pupil to acquire the best possible knowledge available as they look to carry on the school’s fine tradition of exceptional exam results this summer.
Deputy Head Tim Cashell, said: “I would like to offer my thanks to Mr Farnell for arranging this trip, which proved to be a very worthwhile exercise for the group.
“This is a very busy time for our Upper Sixth with final preparations being made for their exams, and trips such as this will hopefully help them considerably.”
