Budding swimmers will have the chance to advance their skills at a special learning event next month.
The school’s swimming department has announced an Half Term Intensive Crash Course, which will take place from October 30 until November 3.
The sessions have been implemented to give those wanting to learn a great opportunity to take advantage of lessons that staff otherwise cannot accommodate during term time.
As frequency is the key for many children to progress through the stages of learning, these lessons offer an ideal solution to continuing and improving swimming routine whilst the weekly lessons are suspended.
A variety of additional classes, focussing around intensive styles of teaching to give children the best possible platform to advance in confidence building, grasping techniques quicker and enhancing their overall understanding of aquatics will also take place.
Children aged five and over are welcome to attend, and the intensive is priced at £40 from five sessions or £10 per session.
Those already booked on to swimming lessons at Rydal Penrhos will be able to book at a discounted rate of £35, and there are also one-to-one sessions available on request.
Head of Swimming Maciej Ruszkowski, said: “This is a great way for children to have some fun and learn how to be a competent swimmer in a very short space of time.
“Our sessions have brought superb results in recent years thanks to the hard work and dedication of our coaches, and we hope that the half term intensive will be just as enjoyable for those who attend.”
