Beatrice & Jack secure skiing success on the continent

Two Preparatory School skiing siblings have managed to secure notable success on the continent.

Beatrice and Jack Brookes-Fazakerley, Year 2 and Reception class pupils at Rydal Penrhos, took part in a series of competitions over the festive break and managed to secure some impressive results to further enhance their outstanding recent development.

Beatrice managed to perform superbly well during a slalom event in France, eventually coming away with first place as a result of her exceptional effort down the slopes.

She managed to follow this up with a creditable second spot during a similar competition in Austria, which gave her two podium finishes that will stand her in good stead going forward.

Jack also came out of the same races with an enormous amount of credit, defying his age to achieve high finishes in both in the face of older and more experienced opposition.

Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Beatrice and Jack are two very talented young skiers who clearly have a great passion for the sport, and it is great to see all their hard work bringing with some hugely impressive results.

“Hopefully this will give them even more confidence in terms of what they can accomplish in the future, and I look forward to hearing of their exploits as they progress through their education here at Rydal Penrhos.”
