A dedicated Preparatory School pupil has been putting his free time to good use at a local organisation.
Angus Holland, a Year One pupil at Rydal Penrhos, has been rewarded for months of hard work with a series of badges from his Beavers group, which meets at the Great Orme in Llandudno.
The six-year-old was recognised for his efforts at the Prep School’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 3, where he received a generous round of applause after being commended by Headmaster Roger McDuff.
He has managed to gain no fewer than six badges since he began with the group in September, with everything from Communications, Cooking and Disability covered during that time.
The pupil said that he “really enjoys” going to Beavers and is currently working hard in the hope of achieving further accolades in the future.
Mr McDuff, said: “Angus has been working very hard to achieve various targets since he joined the Beavers group, and it is something he clearly has a great passion for.
“This is just one of many of our pupils who embrace learning outside of the classroom, and a number of them are thriving in various fields such as Music, Theatre and Dance.
“Congratulations to Angus on achieving such a large amount in his short time with the group.”
