A hard-working Preparatory School pupil received a plethora of honours in recognition for her outstanding efforts over the last fortnight.
Amelia Williams, a Year 4 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, was presented with no fewer than four accolades from Deputy Head Alison Hind at the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly, which took place on Friday, June 15.
The eight-year-old picked Star of the Week awards for two weeks, for her excellent participation and effort during Sports Day and for being so kind and courteous in her role as a buddy for a visiting Chinese school.
This was followed by another coveted distinction as Amelia’s application to her classroom studies and development was rewarded with a Pen Licence, which she will now use on a day-to-day basis.
Her co-curricular achievements also took centre stage, with the ambitious young pupil securing the Performer of the Week award from the Paulin Quire Performing Arts Academy in Llandudno.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “This is an incredible series of achievements for a pupil that works incredibly hard to aide her overall progression in various fields.
“Amelia’s talent is matched by her mannerisms and politeness to everyone she comes in contact with, and we are absolutely thrilled with the way she is approaching every opportunity that presents itself and the fabulous young child she is turning into.”
