Three more Preparatory School pupils received recognition after successfully climbing the ladder of a long-running Spelling Challenge.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised a new spelling challenge for pupils last year, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, and a plethora of certificates have already been issued as a result of their hard work since the initiative began.
Year 6 pupil Amber England-Bryant has been rising through the levels in double-quick time after joining the Prep School at the start of the academic year, and she is now just two steps away from completion after securing her Stage Three Bronze Award.
There was further cause for celebration in the form of Maggie McDuff and Sophie Edwards, who managed to attain their Stage Two Bronze assessments as a result of their exceptional application towards the challenge.
Each pupil received a certificate acknowledging their achievement at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 8.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “It is fantastic to see our older pupils leading by example not only with their efforts during the Spelling Challenge, but across all areas of life here at Rydal Penrhos.
“This is something we look to install into each pupil under our care from a very early age, and I would like to congratulate Amber, Maggie and Sophie on their latest impressive achievements.”
