Sixth Form pupil at Rydal Penrhos has received a wealth of conditional university offers thanks to an exceptional application process.
Adam Hardman, a Year 13 pupil at the school, plans to pursue a career in the Engineering industry, and his further education choices reflect his immense knowledge within the field.
The Upper Sixth Former has received an offer to study Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath, with a place on the Mechanical Engineering with a Year in Industry degree course at the University of Sheffield also confirmed pending the necessary A-level results this summer.
Adam also has the option of choosing Mechanical Engineering at either Lancaster or Loughborough Universities after being offered places at both further education establishments, and his final conditional place comes at the University of Leeds to study Mechatronics and Robotics.
This superb selection of offers is a testament to Adam’s academic progress across various fields during his time at Rydal Penrhos, which began as a Year 7 pupil in 2012.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Adam is an incredibly bright young man who is sure to go on to great things if he continues to show the same application towards his studies in the years to come.
“He is studious, demonstrates a keen ability and willingness to learn and has picked up plenty of transferrable skills that will stand him in good stead ahead of the next stage of his journey this summer.”
