Preparatory School children took part in a series of fun-filled activities as part of an ongoing initiative during the half term break.
Rydal Penrhos’ popular Playscheme programme was once again action-packed, with a host of exciting trips and special tasks throughout what proved to be yet another excellent week for all involved.
One of the notable highlights was the excursion to the picturesque Bodnant Gardens, where they planted their very own snowdrops, followed the venue’s fairy house trail and ended their stay at the site by making their own fairies to take away.
The week concluded with a St David’s Day themed activity day on Friday, March 1, which involved baking daffodil biscuits and making Welsh spoons to mark the occasion.
It proved to be another extremely worthwhile week away from the classroom for those in attendance as part of the Playscheme, which took on a new direction during the summer as it looked to make the very most of Rydal Penrhos’ stunning location on the North Wales coast.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “We have receive an enormous amount of positive feedback from our latest half term Playscheme, and I would like to thank our wonderful staff for their ongoing commitment to the programme.
“It gives the children involved a chance to interact more with different year groups, build additional friendships and gain new experiences during the holidays.”
