A group of performing artists at Rydal Penrhos had the opportunity to demonstrate their incredible talents at a special event before the half term break.
An evening with the Dramatic Society took place at the Rick Maple Drama Studio on Thursday, October 12, and those in attendance were treated to performances of ‘Road’ and ‘Two’ from the smash hit ‘Blood Brothers’ during the showcase.
It has been a memorable few months for the Society, who are still drawing plaudits from the four-night performance of Annie the Musical which attracted almost 1,000 audience members to the school’s Memorial Hall.
Plans are now being formed for their next production in the spring, which has long been considered as one of the most prominent dates on the calendar.
Full details of the event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Deputy Head Tim Cashell, said: “Our Dramatic Society is an immensely popular group that are pupils thoroughly enjoy, and this is testament to the hard work and drive shown by our Head of English and Drama Leah Crimes.
“This event was further proof of the wealth of talent we currently have at Rydal Penrhos, and everyone associated with the school is already very much looking forward to their next production.”
